AI Content Disclosure
Which parts of your website are written by software, which are not, and what that means for you.

The short version
Luminous uses automated content generation to write your site's copy. Most of the words on a site we build for you are drafted by a large language model from the brief you supply, and then rendered into a professionally designed layout.
You are responsible for reviewing it before it goes live. Generated text can contain claims your brief did not provide, and those claims become yours the moment the site is published. We give you a preview for exactly this reason.
What is generated automatically
| Part of your site | How it is produced |
|---|---|
| Page copy — headlines, body text, calls to action | Generated by AI from your brief |
| Service and treatment descriptions | Generated by AI from your brief |
| FAQ questions and answers | Generated by AI from your brief |
| Meta titles and descriptions for search engines | Generated by AI from your brief |
| Structural text you type into the CMS later | Written by you, not generated |
| Blog posts you write | Written by you, unless you ask us to generate them |
What is not generated
- The design and layout. Section types, arrangement, colour, and type are chosen from a set of professionally designed templates and variants. The AI selects among them; it does not draw anything.
- Your submitted information. Your business name, phone number, address, email, opening hours, and service list are used exactly as you provide them. We do not invent your contact details.
- Your own media and content. Photos, logos, and text you upload are used as supplied.
- Your legal pages. Terms and privacy pages on your site come from a fixed template and are not AI-written. They are a starting point, not legal advice, and you should have them reviewed if your business needs specific terms.
What we do not promise, and you must check
Language models can produce text that sounds authoritative and is not true. The specific risk we have seen in our own pipeline is invented specifics — numbers, credentials, and claims that you never supplied:
- Years in business ("serving the area for 20 years")
- Licences, certifications, and insurance
- Numbers of customers, projects, or jobs completed
- Awards, memberships, and affiliations
- Prices, guarantees, and warranties
- Response times and availability promises
Check every one of these on your preview before you approve it. A plausible claim you did not make is a factual misstatement published under your business's name, and it is your reputation and potentially your legal exposure, not ours.
We are actively working to prevent the generator from stating a fact your brief did not provide. Until that is complete, treat every specific number or credential on your site as unverified until you have read it.
Your responsibility
- Read your site before it goes live, including the pages you did not ask for specifically.
- Correct anything inaccurate. You can edit all generated text in the CMS, at any time.
- Tell us if you find something the generator invented, so we can fix the pattern rather than just the instance.
- Do not publish regulated claims — medical, legal, financial, or professional — without the review your profession requires.
How to tell whether text was generated
Every page we generate carries a record of whether its content was machine-generated and, where applicable, a note in your CMS. If you are unsure about a specific passage, ask us and we will tell you.
